About the Savannah Beach & Racquet Club: Located on the quiet North end of Tybee Island directly on the bay where the Savannah River meets the Atlantic Ocean. There is a beach, but no real wave action. Watch the dolphins play and the ships come to port. The condo complex features private beach access, 14'x20' pool and 10x10' kiddie pool, tennis courts, private parking, gated complex, WIFI access at the pool and SB&RC office, and community coin operated washer(s)/dryer(s) in each building.

Much better than a hotel room
  "The Savannah Beach and Racquet Club is a great alternative to staying in a hotel on Tybee. The unit was very clean and comfortable and had a newer kitchen with every thing we needed to cook - some of the condos in the building have outdated kitchens and this unit has a nice new one which was important to us because we love to cook on vacation. Although the condos are pretty small, there is plenty of room for 2 people - much more space than a single hotel room, plus you get the livingroom, kitchen and private balcony. The location is great for ship and dolphin watching - and I love to watch the shrimpboats go in and out. The pool is a nice place to relax and has a good view. Spring and late summer are the best times to go to Tybee because the weather is really nice and there are hardly any crowds during the week." - Amelia
