This is the funniest stage musical you'll see all year! Maybe ever, y'all!
There's a new tenant at Armadillo Acres, and she's wreaking havoc all over Florida's most exclusive trailer park! When Pippi comes between the Dr. Phil–loving, agoraphobic Jeannie and her tollbooth collector husband—the storms begin to brew. Watch out!
The two-act play was performed in the first annual New York Music Theater Festival in 2004 and Off-Broadway in 2005. The critics loved it! "It’s the theatrical equivalent of a bag of Doritos. You can't get enough!” — Talkin' Broadway. "
The Village Voice said, "It’s a show that lives up to the hype of its title. A delicious musical that is "South Park meets Desperate Housewives! In this big-hearted new musical, we find a fable about women in a Florida trailer park and their no-account men. It’s more fun than a chair-throwing episode of Jerry Springer set to music." —The New Yorker. "
Our production from the Savannah Community Theatre is directed by Tom Coleman III.
