While Tybee Vacation Rentals has high standards of cleaning, some guests as an extra precaution may want to perform additional cleaning upon arrival. The CDC recommends all households consider cleaning and disinfecting "high-touch" surfaces daily in shared household areas (e.g., tables, hard-backed chairs, doorknobs, light switches, remotes, handles, desks, toilets, sinks). As has been recommended by many authorities, wash your hands often, avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.

We are currently monitoring the situation with the Coronavirus (COVID-19).  We understand the uncertainty of it all.  Our Guest Services Agents are here to help you and answer any questions you may have regarding your reservation.  Please feel free to call 866.935.4021  or email at for assistance.  Please check our events page to find out what has postponed and canceled.

Please review the terms of your policy carefully if you purchased travel insurance. If you need to make a claim or have questions about how your existing policy will cover you, please reach out to Generali Travel Insurance at 866-999-4018. Make sure you know your policy number before the call.

Our Housekeeping Team members clean and disinfect all hard surfaces of our vacation homes, including but not limited to floors, countertops, railings, sink faucets, appliances, doorknobs, and light switches. The quality of disinfectants the TVR Housekeeping Team uses is per the EPA, effective against bacteria and viruses. Linens and towels are laundered offsite at our linen facility; soiled linens are treated as if they are contaminated.

Our housekeeping staff is trained to use the best hygiene practices at all times.  With the combinations of these best practices, our employees, clients, and guests should be safe from the spread of coronavirus.

We are confident that our laundry process yields hygienically clean linens. The soil sort area of the Tybee Vacation Rentals linen facility treats all soiled linens as if they are contaminated.
