Description

Van Horne Villa is a custom-built home features unobstructed views of the beach and the Atlantic Ocean. Located on the main oceanfront side of the North end of Tybee you can enjoy a quieter beach location and are still within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The exterior of the home offers everything you would want in an oceanfront home including private beach access right from your deck with a shower to rinse off, lots of seating and lounge space, charcoal grill, and an enclosed outdoor shower room with bathroom.

On the main living level of the home, you will find the kitchen, dining area, 4 guest bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a large oceanfront deck. The kitchen features a 6 burner gas stove, oven, convection oven/microwave, full-size fridge, and plenty of space for large family meals. There is a full bath in the hall. The dining area table seats 10 and the living area is comfortably furnished and includes a wet bar with built-in icemaker. The guest bedrooms on this floor include #1: Queen, #2: Double, #3: 2 Doubles with Jack and Jill Full Bath connecting to #4: Queen bed.

The top floor of the home features two masters. The first master is furnished with a King and full bath with soaking tub with an oceanfront view and separate shower. The second master offers a King and Double bed and an attached full bath. There is also a laundry with full-sized washer and dryer in the hall.

The ground level of the home offers a utility room with a full-sized freezer, additional washer and dryer, and sink. The ground level patio offers additional seating, stair access to main level deck, enclosed shower room, and a charcoal grill, and a gas grill perfect for cookouts. There is parking for 5 vehicles. This home has High-Speed Internet/WIFI available for guest use.

It was a great vacation, my husband and I renewed our vows on the beach outside of the house! It was the perfect setting, quiet beach with great views!

We select a different location for our annual Family Thanksgiving week...this year we spent it at Tybee Island. The Van Horne Villa was ideal for our family of 8 adults and 3 little granddaughters. The home is beautiful and the beach was right in front of us...it was warm enough for several days of water fun, kite flying, sand castle, etc. ..close enough to tour Savannah . Just wish it was handicap accessible as a grandmother who visited for the day had to be confined to the garden patio area. Would like to have had more hangers in the closets and a better can opener. It would have been helpful to have had directions for the microwave/oven combo....All in all....a beautiful and comfortable home with a HUGE wrap around porch.

Wonderful house and location. I cannot imagine anyone not enjoying their stay here. Hard to pick my favorite part, but I guess it would be the huge wrap around porch with an excellent view of the ocean. Everything in the house was of the highest quality.
